My boyfriend and I came down for the weekend. His dad recommended we stop into the Abbey. I ended up making two reservations for Friday and Sunday (this morning). Friday night John was our server and he was fantastic. My boyfriend got the land and sea and I got one of the wild game specials, an herb marinated boar chop. It was the best boar I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly and it melted in my mouth. I'm usually not big on herb marinades because they usually lack in the flavor department, but I was far from disappointed... read more

This was my first time eating here. I moved here 3 years ago and have only heard great reviews. It was wonderful! I had the prime rib and ended with a delicious key lime pie! Wonderful! Jordan was our server she was very nice. Great place got to come back now!
Love going to FA for the BEST she-crab soup in all of Hampton Roads. This is our go-to place for special occasions!
Wonderful meal and service for our grand son’s first birthday!!! It is all about the adult palate at this age. Ribeye, filet mignon were like butter! Even the birthday boy was able to chew it all up! Excellent key lime pie! The she crab soup was rich enough that some of us only had a bite, but a cup or bowl can basically be your dinner! Josh was our waiter and had our food out piping hot!
