Horrible practice. Doctors are never available. Always end up with Assistants, who are horrible and never listen to any symptoms. Any symptoms, one medicine. Whatever the problem is, they prescribe you Antibiotics. You go home, problem worsens, and you call back.. Again change the prescription to another Antibiotics, realizing the first one didn't suit you. Fed up with this. This is how the practice is making money. I have reoccuring sinus infections that I see her for and typically follow a pattern when I start to have symptoms this visit I was diagnosed with bronchitis and was not prescribed any antibiotics. The next day I call and request an antibiotic as I'm coughing my lungs out and hoarse the nurse requested that I come back in meaning another co-pay on an issue that ends up being a sinus infection better off going to Urgent Care... read more
Dr Fitelberg, Crystal, and the rest of the folks at the Urbana location combine to make one of the most supportive and comprehensive general practice experiences I have ever had. I have had very good physicians before, in other parts of the country, but I would pick Dr Fitelberg above them all. She is kind, thoughtful, intelligent, and up-to-date in her medical knowledge. Crystal is always nice and also both thoughtful and compassionate. I have never had a bad experience here.
In the past 20 years I've seen more doctors than I care to think about and not one doctor or their staff comes close to FPCA. Your entire staff rates the very best!
I called in the morning and I jade to call to get to talk to someone and she said I made an appointment at 2:45 pm with lee and I get there at 2:30 pm and it is now 3:35 pm and still not have been seen. This is not a good place to go and I will be changing my pcp today.
This is the best run medical practice I've ever seen - in terms of efficiency and efficacy as well as emotionally. From the phone system, to the front desk, to the nursing staff, to the practitioners, this is a first class place that cares about its patients and cares about getting it right. I love the practice on 56 TJ drive and love the entire team working with Dr. Amy Jones and Deborah Austill!! Thank you all!!
First visit today and I feel comfortable recommending them to my husband for all around care.
I've been going to FPCA for years and now my entire family goes. We love the Urbana office and they never hesitate to get us in for a same day appointment. The whole office knows us and always entertains my son while I'm talking to the Dr.,etc. It's also so convenient to be able to get our blood drawn there as well. I recommend this office to all of our friends and family.
