Dr. Tomecek performed 3 surgeries on my lower back. Two of the surgeries were fusions. I am left with straight back syndrome. It is hard to walk and have constant pain.
I saw Dr Tomecek after he did my husband's fusion surgery last year. I had fusion surgery in March. My pain has been resolved. Dr Tomecek is very knowledgable, patient and thorough. His physician's assistant and nurse are attentive and responsive. I suffered for almost 2 years before surgery because 2 orthopedics said it was my hip. It was my back. My leg and back pain are virtually non-existent, and I can be active again.

After having neck pain 24/7 for 3 years, and trying several treatment options, I asked for a referral to a neurosurgeon. I am a dentist, and was going to have to retire if I could not get some relief. Dr Tomacek was highly recommended and after meeting him, I had full confidence that he was the best at his craft. My husband had his L2-L5 fused in July. Dr. Tomecek and his staff have been incredibly caring, responsive and compassionate. We are very pleased with the results of the surgery. My husband's back feels better than it has in years and it continues to improve over time. Dr. Tomecek has always spent as much time as we have needed to address questions, concerns and next steps. He is an incredibly skilled surgeon with a wonderful, responsive staff. We would give them 10 stars if we could.
Dr Tomecek was straight on giving our family all options we had when my son had emergency cervical spine surgery June 28,2019. Our decision was to have Dr Tomecek and his team do extensive complicated surgery. Dr Tomecek assembled a team in a matter of two hours late on Friday afternoon and went to surgery that evening. I believe it was Dr. Tomecek and his team that saved my life... I had a severe sci injury leaving my sc compressed in my neck consisting of the areas 2 3 4 5 and 6... After having contrasted MRI image of my neck Dr. Tomecek gave me two choices to have emergency spinal cord surgery or to remain in my current condition at the time which he strongly didn't recommend, it was my choice though...
