I would recommend Dr. Tomecek to anyone, he explained everything I could even understand.
Dr. Tomecek is the best surgeon. He gave me hope again. I’m a 34 year old mom whose genetics weren’t the best as far as my back and degenerative disc disease go, it was pretty messed up. I was in so much pain when I came to him after a failed surgery last summer. Dr. Tomecek is an excellent neurosurgeon. He takes the time to answer all of your questions and has your well-being at the forefront of his care. He does not rush into decisions and will thoroughly explain everything to you. He is the only specialty physician that I know that will spend 45 minutes with you. There is no feeling of being rushed or dismissed. His office is excellent as well. Everyone is there to take care of all of your needs. Recommend him highly!
He was very detailed, very understanding and very caring about what was going on with me and wants to generally help get rid of pain and get me back to normal. Extremely happy with my first initial visit and look forward to working with him further.
Dr. Tomecek is a life saver! I hurt my back and I had tried everything to make it better. I came into see him and Kelly, his nurse practitioner, and they immediately got a plan together for me. Dr. Freak Tomecek has a "god" complex and anger issues. He doesn't just do surgeries...he wants to TELL you who & where you WILL see for your therapy and makes your children (who live in other states & have jobs and kids of their own) feel like trash if they don't leave everything & come take care of you for a couple of months; EVEN if you have chosen a facility that your insurance will pay for 100% BUT he doesn't approve. I just had my 2nd Ofc visit With Dr. Tomecek himself & 3 Ofc visits total. While he has yet to operate on me, he came highly recommended by a friend, a patient of his. I have had 2 Neurosurgies in the past. The last one being 20 years ago. Both previous fusions went great. Now I'm in my early 60s and time has taken its toll on my body.
