This is definitely one of the worst experiences I've ever dealt with at a hospital. My friend and I went to visit a terminal patient in their ICU Ward. I went in to visit and my friend waited in the hall way. A short period of time goes by and an officer comes up to him and said that they had four reports of a suspicious looking person standing in the hallway. My 4 year old had her adenoids removed a week ago. From the moment surgery was scheduled, it was a smooth process. I have never had anything done here so I was nervous. The admissions people, nurses, anesthesiologist, volunteers and Dr.Provenzano were outstanding! My daughter has been sick on and off for awhile and Dr.Provenzano did a bronchoscopy on her as well and found an infection in her lungs. Had he not done that we wouldn't have the answers we do now. 3 Hour wait in the emergency room to be seen by someone is ridiculous.
I think it's pretty lame that employees at the hospital itself get Christmas bonuses, but none of the employees at the outside affiliated doctors' offices don't. Is there a good reason for that?
Eh besides being there for hours then end having to stay some of the nurses upstairs are rude or just don't care I still recommend Porter
I came in for chest pains and blacking out at work, wasn't another heart attack thank god but they said there was some kind of blockage and that they seemed to have eliminated it.. so for now I'm out of here and thanks for everything and hopefully not needing a repeat for least 30++ years
By far the worst hospital ever. I was literally waiting in the lobby for 3 hours just for my 4 month old son so he could be seen for his breathing. This is ridiculous. There wasn't many people here at all. In fact the lady at the front stated there was 5 available. This is ridiculous. I'll never come here with my kids again. This hospital is a disgrace.
They get you in fast and give you a wheelchair. I'll give them that. The nurses are great there. I did go and have surgery and was not prescribed antibiotics upon discharge and ended up with a terrible infection and a wound that is awful from my emergency surgery. A wound nurse told me to clean my wound with Hydrogen Peroxide which is a big no no. Also went to the wound doctor there and he told me I didn't have an infection when I did and told me to change my wound bandage every three days which seemed ridiculous. I've been ... read more
