We went to urgent care and the doctor saw the kid for ear pain and suggested to take Ibuprofin. For this they sent two claims to the insurance under "USACS Community Emergency Services of ******** **** for **** doctor charges and other one under ***************************************** for facility charges of around 115. Insurance is treating them as two services because they are filed as two separate claims and I called the billing of centura and even conferenced insurance rep twice but they refuse to cooperate and combine... read more

Literally 100 or more phone calls, messages and emails, totally probably ***** HOURS of my time to resolve billing issues that 100% were the result of Centura mistakes. Nothing worked, you can't contact corporate because the phone number listed was NEVER, not once, answered. It's a recording that says "if you've reached this message during normal business hours we are away from the desk, please try your call again later." I called at least 30 times on different days, different times, never once did anyone answer the phone, s... read more

Deceptive billing practices. Double and triple billing. Visited St. ******* urgent care in ************ during a ski trip. My daughter heart her wrist. Wanted to get a Dr to look at it. So I looked up Cigna in network urgent care. The front desk would not give me a price or estimate for visit. Dr did not even look at the wrist and made us get an X-ray. Daughter was fine the next day. Keep getting bills in the mail. Total so far Id over $2,000 for a simple urgent care visit. You call to get an explanation on the multiple bill... read more

Asked my Health Insurance prior to 9/22 surgery what my out of pocket costs would be and paid this amount after saving because it was ALOT. In Feb or March 2023 a Centura Health refund card came for $800. I held onto that card for at least a month then chose to use it. Now in June, I get a bill for $400 of that back. I am assuming I will get another bill for the other $400 they refunded me whenever they feel like taking it back. Terrible way to do business. What a joke.

Is there a way to give negative Stars? This review is for Centura Health care in southwest ******, *********** and **********.I HATE corporate hospitals! All week long we have tried to get an appointment to have stent removed. We called 4 times, left messages 4 times (during regular business hours and never talked to anyone), leave messages they call back (maybe) some time later, say we need to call someone else, maybe we make three or four more calls then finally we actually talk to someone, then they can't set an appointme... read more

Absolutely the worst decision to go to this place. I went to the **** at ****** Hospital and was given expensive tests that shouldn't have been given for an abcess tooth. They also prescribed medication that I was billed for, at an astronomical cost compared to the price of the 'scripts normal price. They knew that I was out of state, and I had to go to them, the place I was referred to. NEGATIVE 5 STARS.

Business response:

Thank you for contacting Centura Health with your concerns. I have placed your account under review with our disputes department. You will receive further communication from them by letter to the address on file with Centura Health. If you have further questions or would like to send a formal dispute, please call ** at ************ or **************.

YOU NEED TO RESEND CLAIM TO MY INSURANCE. I did NOT receive emergency room services, but was billed as such. I am NOT paying for services I did NOT receive. Absolute FRAUD.

If you have serious conditions and need medication, DO NOT COME HERE. I grew up in ******** and was prescribed medication as a teenager for "postpartum depression" at the ripe age of 16...with no child or pregnancy. I had made them aware of this fact, and they responded by bringing up my mother and grandmother's struggles with depression, "and this medication worked for them!" Well, I ended up going out-of-state for college, was dependent on anti-depressants to feel at all normal, and found it EXTREMELY difficult to get ahol... read more
