The beds are decent (at least in an SPG upgrade room), and the staff was perfectly fine, but the rest of the experience leaves much to be desired. The chair in the room is peeling, the hotel is right across the street from a fire station for sirens every night, the homeless population is large, and the breakfast is not worth the price. The kicker though is the "fast" wifi that tested an abysmal 0.25Mb/s download speed - and the only 1 bar of Verizon coverage if you wanted to actually browse the news.

I can't understand why people complain about this hotel. Staff is nice, room and lobby seem renovated. I'm a platinum member and I was greeted appropriately and received a cute little gift in my room perfect for the occasion.
