You simply have to eat here! And you must make a reservation if you hope to do so, at least a day in advance. It's that good!
Fantastic food! The menu selection didn't provide anything special; although the freshness of the food and the way it was prepared made it incredibly tasty. It's a MUST visit in DC!
Loved this place! Service and food were outstanding! The Stuffed French Toast was so good, if I was going to the electric chair I would want this for my last meal!

Got the chicken and waffles. My waffles were wet with cheese from the runny mac and cheese on the same plate, which was also tasteless. When the manager came by and asked how it was I told her "not good". I could tell she was taken aback since it appears the masses clearly love this place. Founding Farmers Washington D.C. had brunch on my visit from Boston!! Awesome service, food, drinks and people. We a had option of waiting(1hr) or self seat at full service bar. Self seating worked out just fine. Food arrived fresh , hot and in a timly manner. Great atmosphere!!The hour would have been worth the wait!! Founding Farmers is a MUST!! when visiting D.C
Love this restaurant! Took our visiting family for lunch between sightseeing. No reservations and they were very busy on a holiday weekend. Told a 45 minute wait, but they got us in in 15 minutes! Boy, were we glad. Starving and tired st this point. Service was perfect and the food was even better! Had the reuben with FF slaw with fresh green beans. It was so good. My husband had the burger and it was huge. Would recommend this place wholeheartedly!

Found the restaurant online and went based on reviews. Amazing Food and friendly service. The homemade pasta was great. Seafood bucatini was awesome. Had a nice IPA. Love the quality of the food. Would love to go back if I'm in DC again.
