Ok mediocre food (average)but poor service. The reason why it suffers in poor service is poor communication with the customer. We arrived to the hostess station and once we arrived at the table we were failed before to be told that we were going to be sat at a big community table. Had we known that we were not going to be sat in a booth we would have waited. I also sat right next to my partner but was told later to move to accommodate another guest because of space and comfortability. Not to mention I have to talk across the... read more
The food deserves five stars but the service was terrible. Our waiter was not attentive, very slow and even gave us the wrong check at the end. Honestly the worst service I have ever had.
Thank you guys for a great night ! It will be a memorable night for myself and family forever!
My husband and I went there on July 25. We had the cornbread, which was light and fluffy, like a poundcake. He had the seafood pasta and I had the crabcakes. There was SO much flavor in them. They were amazing. I had the mint watermelon as a side and it was very tasty. My husband loved his food. then I had the homemade vanilla bean ice cream for desert. It hit the spot on the hot day. The only downside to the meal was that the tea was a little strong and no ice. BUT that is okay. Everything else was the bomb! Will definitely... read more
My family of 5 ate at Founding Farmers last Sunday while on vacation in DC, and we are still talking about how wonderful it was, 3 nights later! I had the goat cheese ravioli which was amazing! My husband's steak was cooked beautifully & full of flavor, and 2 of our girls thoroughly enjoyed the chicken & waffles, not to mention the red velvet cake we all shared at the end. Our server was attentive throughout the whole meal, and we were sat promptly at our reservation time in a large, circular booth with plenty of room for th... read more
Avoid the goat cheese ravioli and chicken cutlet at all costs. Hands down the worst meal I've ever had. So disappointing.
This place Rocks. In from Tampa, I'm a Breakfast Pro, just ask me. Not sure what the Post is talking about. Got the Beignets and the Peanut butter banana chocolate toast. Upgraded the bacon too. Meyers was our server and did a swell job. We'll be back.
Great service and AMAZING FOOD!! Drove from Delaware for this delishness!!!
Marcus Skeel Couldn't agree more with the WaPo review. I've always been disappointed and felt ripped-off when I ate with you. Sadly, you seem to be one of the only "nice place"options in the neighborhood, so that explains why you're so busy. Would not under any circumstances visit again voluntarily.
