On February 8th, The Ohio Basement Authority sent a crew to our home to install a sump pump. What a surprisingly pleasant experience. The crew included 4 men : Thomas L., Payton Q, Will H. and Jeremiah T. (Not sure if I should post last names). They called ahead of time and arrived when they said. Alpha Foundations saved my Grandfather's old house!!!!. I had several contractors look at the foundation and told me it would be too expensive to save and their advice was to "tear it down". Tarheel Basement Systems is the reason my 125 year old house is standing. When I bought the house a few years ago, they did an excellent job making my house structurally sound with metal beams and jacks. They showed up on time and worked diligently in a tiny space. They did a great job back then and every year they come back and check over all the work, tightening things up, and checking for any issues. Chad came over for dehumidifier, sump pump, and basement waterproofing maintenance service. He was thorough and professional. I asked him to seal the cracks that occurred between the waterproofing concrete along the foundation and the old concrete. He performed the sealing of the cracks which the guy last year from Ohio Basement Authority would not do. The previous guy who came last year said the cracks were just cosmetic.
