Love this airport
Near gate E9 rude Lady staged her restaurant is a dine and n only there I isn’t a fast food area besides her only dine in rude rude lady
It's there... what can I say. Not a very "efficient" airport. Designed mostly for tourists, so understand that as you go. Not local friendly at all, as there is no economy airport parting. Only off site, 3rd party parking. Yes, they have a garage or two, but you'll pay twice as much for it.
Incredible airport that is super good at flying out of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood area.
Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I am sitting on the tarmak and we’re not allowed to disembark because immigration personnel are incompetent. We will be an hour+ waiting on the plane, and 1.5 hours+ at immigration on top of an 8 hour flight. Thanks!!
I just landed on JetBlue flight 1718 from Mexico City. Upon arrival at the gate, we were told we needed to remain on the plane for 30 min as immigration was too full. Ten minutes later the pilot announced it would be more like 40 minutes. I have traveled the world and never experienced anything like this. Recommend travelers to use Orlando or Miami airport; Fort Lauderdale is a joke.
Terminal 1 is very crowded and seriously limited food options. Lots of shopping but barely anything to eat. Almost never any seating available. Too loud and crowded. The WiFi in the terminal is terrible, and the cell service is even worse.
