Ford Veterinary Associates Im not a big fan of this office. The office staff treated me very rudely. I had an unpleasant conversation on the phone and when I brought my pet in. I will never come back here again, it seems like the care of the animal is not a major priority here.
I own Cujo Dr. McCarthy was wonderful with my 6.5yr. old, dual personality Lab/Sheppard Mix. My dog turns into Cujo when at the vet, assumingly from a bad experience with another vet as a puppy. However, Dr. M was very patient, and was not afraid of him like the other vet in Lewiston was. He handled my pooch sympathetically, and didn't pressure me into any rash decisions. wouldn' t recommend this vet This vet misdiagnosed my dog as having recurrent UTI's when, in fact, she had stones that required surgery. The office staff could be friendlier as well.
receptionist could be more friendly Thought the receptionist was a bit on the unfriendly side. I went to pick up prescription pet food. The woman behind the desk got kind of snippy and said that I should've called first. Well, I told her that nobody told me I had to call first to pick up cat food. The vet was kind to my pet and seemed to care about him.
Ford Veterinary Hospital The problem with the reviews is that there are no dates on them. Things do not remain constant. Since there are no dates on the reviews they cannot be relied upon.
Love this place Great vet! I highly recommend him anytime, prices are def more affordable than other vets in the area and the care Dr. McCarthy provides is exceptional! The staff should not stop you from providing the best care for your pets, people are rude all the time, who cares, my pets are in great hands and although the staff is a bit cranky at times, the doctor is fabulous with my pets and addresses all my concerns!
Stupid-Snippy-Glorified-Cashiers are ruining an otherwise decent practice First, the parking situation is nearly impossible, as in non-existent. Once you actually get into the office you're greeted by the worse excuse for customer service. Ever. If they are so miserable they should find new jobs and let people who genuinely like people and animals work the front desk. Professional & Caring When one of my dogs developed a hematoma on her ear, I needed to find a vet quickly. I am new to the area and had concerns about finding a vet who would provide the type of care that I am use to for my puppies. The reviews here stated that the vet was good but the office staff was rude - I have experienced only the very best in service from everyone in this office. They are all so friendly, caring, and professional. I highly recommend them. February 2011.
very unpleasant service We wont be going here anytime soon. We were very displeased with the service we recieved. They were harsh with our cat, and took WAY too long. We were in the waiting room for almost an hour and a half!! To top it off, the prices are steep, and it is dificult to get in and out of the parking lot during the day. I do not recommend.
