We came here on a whim and loved it. The rooms were comfortable and I loved our little mini porch. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful and seemed to enjoy their jobs. We thoroughly enjoyed both restaurants, the history and the easy laid back style of this resort. We are already talking about our next trip.
I love this place! Can't wait to come back next year!

The absolute best kept secret of the Smokies/Cherokee National forest. Great for disc golfers, families, or a romantic getaway.
I was only here for a wedding and didn't do anything outside of those preparations but, if you are looking to truly get away from the rat race, this is definitely the place to go.... Absolutely NO cell reception within 10 or more miles and wifi is spotty .... Absolutely loved it!
Too expensive for us at the time. Had to but our passes to walk the mountains here. The dam and hiker shelter was fantastic.The next day we were snowed into our tent on the mountain.
Wonderfully relaxing resort. The only thing I wish was improved was the wifi at the resort. The signal in room is very poor and hard to even get email. If you are intending on unplugging for an entire trip, this is definitely the place for you! The scenery is definitely something that will leave you in awe! I loved my time here and will definitely return.
I provided entertainment for a wedding reception at the resort over the Labor Day weekend and I must say the staff at Fontana Village Resort is the most accommodating I've worked with in a long time. They took care of all my needs and in addition I noticed the great care they used with the newlyweds, their family and guests. Tabitha, Jessie and the rest of the staff made my experience wonderful. Thanks again for everything!
We had a wonderful wedding weekend at Fontana Village with 170 of our family and friends attending. The ceremony, rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and reception all went beautifully. Tabitha,the wedding coordinator was wonderful and helped us plan each aspect of our event. We were very pleased with the food. I believe a good time was had by all. Thank you to all staff at Fontana Village.
