I LOVE Folsom Veterinary Hospital! All the staff members (receptionists, vet techs, and veterinarians) are extremely kind, compassionate and friendly. They love the animals and are always willing to take the time to explain the best treatment(s) for my pets. The service here is top notch! Someone is always offering to carry out heavy items (i.e. dog food) for me or help me manage all my dogs at once by walking us out to the car. My four dogs have been going to Folsom Veterinary Hospital for 6 years and I have so many stories ... read more

Our family has been bringing our dogs to Folsom Veterinary Hospital since 1997. Over 17 years, we have relied on their expertise for everything from routine wellness, to common ailments, to complex internal surgeries and cancer, and ultimately to end-of-life issues. During this time, there has been minimal turnover in core staff, and it is clear that they interact with each other like family. We have always found them to be relaxed and personable, with no pretense. They have always been straightforward, honest, and very acco... read more

I have been a client for fifteen years and not once have I been pleased with the service or the people at Folsom Vet. The staff has always been wondeful, helpful and kind. My boxer Charlie loves going there and that speaks for it self. I have had multiple animals during the fifteen years and continue to return there only because of the staff. The doctors and techs are well experienced. I was very surprised to find any negative reviews but I guess cant please everyone. Folsom Vet is simply the best!!!!

I've been a customer of Folsom Vet for 20 years. They've been so terrific to me and my doxies. My current two, Maggie and Sophie are very well cared for and loved when I bring them in and have to board them. I never worry when I leave them there, they are in the best of hands. Sophie had a back operation ($5k) in February, 2011. She did almost fully recover, had a small drag to her back leg. Dr. Van Tine asked me prior to the operation to do the acupuncture and herbs and I brushed it off...well, I wish I had taken her up on ... read more

True professionals, My dog had an emergency issue related to his post-operation eye wound healing. The dog had staples holding his left eye eyelids together that was supposed to protect his eye from dryness and infection. This morning, I found my dog in agonizing pain, shaking his head, and trying to rub his healing eye against his e-collar. After closer inspection, I discovered that the upper part of the staple was no longer attached to the upper eye lead; instead, it was freely floating on the eye surface, causing pain and... read more

Cy and Grace (dachshunds) have had multiple vets due to a lot of frequent moves. The Folsom Veterinary Hospital is hands down the best vet they have ever had. The staff and doctors are caring, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them.

We have been coming here for years and never have been disappointed. Dr Fischer has shown a great deal of loving care to our dogs, giving us reassurance when we were so emotionally drained as well as being unsure of the unknown. We have two rescues/ Rowdy & Bently who has enjoyed their visits. Never afraid to go in. The staff are great as well, know them by name and always greet us with a friendly smile. So thankful our Furbabies are treated and loved by the whole staff. This place is highly recommended.
