This vet hospital is one of the most knowledgeable, affordable, friendliest and have a loving environment and staff!!! These individuals ranging from the receptionist, vet techs and the doctors are outgoing, knowledgeable, caring and always look out for you and your animals best interest. Very reasonablity priced and affordable. As a customer for many years with my dog Daisy we receives the best treatment and Daisy is very loved. I have been taking my pets to Folsom Veterinary Hospital four about one year and I am very pleased with the level of care they receive. My cat Bright Eyes, Perfect and Galt LOVES going to visit Dr.Shirley Fischer and the Staff ! The cost was affordable and fair. It was actually extremely reasonable compared to all of the other vets in the area. I have never once felt pushed to buy anything I felt I could not afford (which is rare nowadays). The staff has excellent customer service skills, very knowledgeable. The staff takes ... read more

Folsom Veterinary Hospital was very helpful every time my cat needed care. The staff and Veterinarians were excellent and professional. I had to wait awhile as I was bumped for an emergency, but I totally understand. I would have no reservations bringing my pets there in the future.

My 5 year old cat stopped eating. After 24hrs, I went to see Dr. Fischer. We did a bunch of tests, spent lots of $ and found nothing... She prescribed antibiotics and special food... We could afford anymore visits or tests and still didn't know what to do. Other Vets at this point would say, "Good Luck", but Dr. Fischer was extremely understanding. She gave us donated meds and called us 3x a day to give us advice and did so for 3-4 days. She called in the morning, late day and evening. She was unbelievable. She really cares. ... read more

I don't know what all these people are talking about when giving this vet bad reviews. I have been coming since the 90's and have never had a bad experience. They are friendly and caring! If I didn't know any better, I would say that it is just one person writing all the bad reviews (probably a disgruntled ex-employee given that they know everyone's name there apparently.) don't believe the haters, this place is the best in town.

Very kind and speedy. I needed to take my 3 yr old 5.5 pound chihuahua due to excessive vomiting and they saw her right away. I wouldn't say they were cheap but they didn't charge me for everything up front . I was able to decide which procedures to engage in before we went forward. They called me the next day and send me a nice card in the mail. Even clipped her nails for me!! I recommend them. By the way---she's fine!!!

I have taken my two mini longhaired dauchunds, Oscar & Meyer, here since I got them 4 years ago. They have always been treated very good. In January, Meyer ruptured a disc in his back and couldn't move his back legs or wag his tail. As we couldn't afford surgery, Dr. Jodi Van Tine treated Meyer immediately with steroids, herbal medicine and accupuncture sessions. Within 6 weeks he started moving his tail, then in the following weeks, feeling in his legs, walking and running. By three months time, he is back to doing his norm... read more
