I tried getting a credit card from First BankCard and was declined. I have an 833 & 832 credit score. I tried to contact them and they refused to let me speak with a supervisor. WTF - they told me that I didn't fit their credit criteria but couldn't tell me what the criteria was or what I did or didn't have to fit their credit criteria. What does a person have to do to get approved by this bank? Maybe it's because I pay off all my cards monthly and they don't think they will make money off me. Who knows...

This bank has no idea of customer service nor are they really interested in the consumer. This bank is run by a computer which is often inaccurate and there is no way to correct the inaccurate information it has. No one is really interested in helping you either. It's all about the money and how much they can screw you. Stay away from this bank!

I was a customer with them for 8 years, never missed a payment. 2 months ago they cut my limit by 2/3 for no reason. Their website wouldn't accept a payment so I decided to transfer my balance to another card. As soon as the transfer went through they closed my account. Garbage company with no ethics.

I have had the card for a few years, I got a little behind when my job deployed me to a different location. I'd pay what I could when I could. I got a letter saying dont let your account be charged off. Make a minimum payment. Which I did. I made a minimum payment for a few months, finally got my unemployment back pay. I started making bigger payments. I'd received a late payment charge of $39 in June. Its $1000 limit card, I got my balance down to $500 but I still had zero available credit. I messaged them & politely asked w... read more

I will go along with the other reviewers. I had an account with FNB Omaha for more than 5 years, with excellent payment history, and asked them to lower my APR. They said no, wouldn't discuss it, and I have absolutely never had that kind of discussion with a credit card company. Their rates went up over the years, I would suggest staying away from this company.

Beware! We obtained a credit card from this company through a mail offer they sent us and felt it was a good move at the time.....WOW, bad idea. The interest rate was, well, horrible to say the least even though we had decent credit scores (~715 or so) but since the offer was no interest for X months we didnt think it mattered. HOWEVER, upon receiving our first bill after we moved about $3000 to this account we had a minimum payment of ~$250 on a no interest card..... Needless to say their practices are their own and do not ... read more

5/21/2020. Just received a letter in the mail dated 5/14/2020, stating my account was (already ) closed due to: Long Term Inactivity. I've have the card since Nov 18. Ending #2361. I never used the card. It was active. I had in it in case of an emergency. Can you imagine IF I NEEDED IT DURING THESES COVID-19 TIMES of people being out of work!!?? My god! I have received over the last year, at least 10 junk-emails from them, INCLUDING ONE EMAIL ON MAY 19 (AFTER EVIDENTLY MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED, UNBENOUNCED TO ME!). NOT ONE EMAI... read more
