Attended my first DIY for ladies and it was a success. Doris, our instructor, was informative, friendly and made you feel welcome right away. She had a great attitude for this interactive DIY - because of her I look forward to attending another session.
If I could give them below a 1 I would. Store was a mess. Crates of unpacked merchandise were blocking the aisles. We waited over 40 minutes for someone to help us in flooring. When we finally got someone to help us, he didn't know how to place the order so we had to go to customer service. The 2 girls in customer service could not get the computers to work. It was absolutely ridiculous.
We always have a great time when we go. As new homeowners, we love to walk around and dream and any time we need it, they are always happy to help.
Super grateful for good customer service!! Our water heater elements went bad tonight. Joe started taking it apart as I flew to Home Depot before they closed. I called to see what time they closed and was informed that it was in 8 minutes at 9 pm. I explained our minor emergency situation and that I would be getting there right at close or just after. Came in to buy some wood for a Christmas project for 65 first graders. They each needed a six inch block of wood. Andres in the lumber department was more than willing to help cut the wood, so the kids could make their projects for their parents Christmas present. #forthekids
