A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. Recommended this place by our local kayak tour guide (also a must in SC!) and we knew it would be worth it when there was a wait at the door! Food was amazing (if you have never had 'shrimp and grits' before like me get it here, it's beautiful!) our waitress Hayley was an absolute star and was happy to explain to two English girls what half the menu was! Lovely atmosphere lovely staff and definitely worthy of the recommendation!

The wait was reasonable, the food was awesome! The parking on the other hand was a bit tricky. It was a great time with friends & family.
Ride two hundred miles to attend birthday party of close friends and get told we have a time limit on our table would not go back there if it was the last restuarant in South Carolina the manager sucks and obviously does not know how to run a restuarant
