A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. He opened this one-story, nautical-themed restaurant with Chef Drew Hedlund, whose menu includes classic and contemporary Southern fare, with an emphasis on seafood. We've been to Fleet Landing several times in the last 5 years and we absolutely love it - the food, service, Charleston scenery, and atmosphere is top notch. We seem to always go on our anniversary and tonight was no exception; it is a fantastic place to celebrate 19 years of marriage. Thank you for making our anniversary special!
My Mother and I had brunch here...it was delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection We will definitely come back again
Tourist trap with perhaps the worst meal I have had in quite some time. Calamari was cold and the "She Crab" Soup tasteless. The Oysters on the sandwich were also cold. They were very busy but when 5 adults all agree that it was a regrettable experience, there are certainly problems with the food.
Amazing food and drinks! The bartender Wes knows how to make whatever you want and are in the mood for! The waitress Tyler is an awesome server as well! Def. Recommend this place! Beautiful view as well!
Always love eating here, but highly disappointed when calling tonight for a reservation for Saturday night for a large party coming in and they "can't accommodate us". Highly disappointed & now going to let down our guest. Will gladly go spend all our money at some place that will accommodate is.
Outstanding! Next time I'm in Charleston, I'm coming back!
Had lunch 5/3/16. We were a group of 6. The oysters were to die for so say the ones that enjoyed. The tiger fish sandwich, the Grouper special, and the grits were out of this world. My mission is to learn how to make grits as delicious! Everyone's meal was awesome! Vacation visit so don't know when I will visit again but urge everyone to go.
The food was very good and perfect scenery on the water and the service by the waiter was awesome sorry I can't remember his name but big thumbs up to him... The guy in the red and white checker shirt can use some training he wasn't polite or cordial by telling us we might want to hurry up and get going because it was cloudy skies and the rain was about to come, who cares about the rain when you're enjoying yourself and the food and drinks!
I rarely eat seafood, but this place is awesome! I will be returning next time I'm in town =)
