A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. Completely ruined what should have been the best anniversary ever. My husband had our children and grand children meet him at Waterfront Park, where he surprised me for our 25th anniversary, by proposing (again) and renewing our wedding vows. I absolutely loved this place. This was my first time in this area. Not only was my service spectacular, but the hostess was very helpful when I asked where to take my kids to the beach. I have to say I'm sort of critical when it comes to servers, as I have several years of prior serving experience. My server was Matt M. He was an absolutely wonderful server. I had the oysters on the half shell for the first time ever and they were delicious. Wonderful!!! No other words describe. Thank you.
Excellent food and service. Had the trigger Fish and mixed green seared shriml salad and highly recommend! Cool atmosphere on the water Everything was a 5/5!
