A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. Fleet Landing is my favorite place to go when I visit Charleston! The food is alaways good and the waiter made Great recommendations on desert after I got my fave fried oysters with Southern Comfort BBQ sauce over creamy grits!!! It's an appetizer but I eat it as a meal and with the bacon bits and cheese on top. It's just perfection on a plate. Also the manager was really nice and held great conversation about other places we should eat at while in town!!!

My friend from Atlanta and I were looking for she crab soup and found the very best I have ever ate. it was delicious! Would definitely recommend Fleet Landing Restaurant & bar.

We ate here for lunch upon coming into town! It was busy but we didn't wait too long, it's located right on the bay with great views and great food! I would definitely recommend it!

Great food & great views !! Also they have the best spicy vodka bloody marry ever !!!
I'm still thinking about the shrimp and grits that I had last night and my husband said "that was the best seafood pasta" in a very log time. We really enjoyed eating on the water looking at the beautiful view. We'll be back for sure!!
