A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. Other than everyone in Charleston, being there and wanting to do the same, we had a great experience. We were there shortly before 2:00 pm, on a very beautiful Saturday afternoon. Our wait was advised to be a 45 to an hour wait. We were called to our table just at 45 minutes. Great service and food. Took a group of 7 13 year olds for a birthday lunch and the staff was great to all of us. The food was amazing. Get the crab dip for sure!
