A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. He opened this one-story, nautical-themed restaurant with Chef Drew Hedlund, whose menu includes classic and contemporary Southern fare, with an emphasis on seafood. Great food and service wonderful place to eat on the water.
Every food items my guest and I ordered was delicious. The best She crab soup I've tasted. The hughenot torte desert was delicious; my daughter loved the green fried tomato served with crab salad.
