A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. This was my first experience at Fleet Landing. It was so great. The she-crab soup was incredible! Our waiter, Lucas, was fantastic. He was so very friendly and knowledgeable. He made us feel like we were his VIP guests even though he had other tables as well!! He deserves a big RAISE!!
