This complex claims they care about their residents but clearly they do not. I signed a 2 year lease at the end of May with a huge yard which was the complexes big selling point and exactly what I was looking for. After only living here for 3 months, I get an email saying there will be "minor" improvement to my building. Come to find out I will be losing over half of my yard and what is taken away will be used as an "open space". RecommendedI emailed our property manager Christina Behnke with some concerns and she went above and beyond contacting me quickly and came up with some solutions and made me feel validated and safe, and quite frankly warm with her genuine concern. I’m so happy to have lived here 5+ years and it’s people like her that make this community as great as it is!
7/11 update: it’s been 2 hours since I have put in an emergency request with maintenance and nobody has come. The vacant apartment next to mine is flooding and it has now soaked my entire bedroom floor and my bathroom floor is flooded. My carpet will be ruined And I have no doubt I will have to pay for it. Please just send someone for help. Utterly disappointed.
I discovered cockroaches in my apartment and promptly reported it to the Thousand Oaks office on June 19, 2020. Today is July 7th and the infestation has only gotten worse. It took TO a week to finally send Orkin to spray my apartment and they denied that I had an infestation due to lack of cockroach evidence that my persistent clean-up of roach defecation and excrements resulted in. There is a major PEST problem in the building my daughter currently rents in...notice I say rents because she can't "live" in there. It is disgusting!!
Great experience so far! Manager is nice and have worked with me with special situations. They are constantly changing (for the better) and adding more facilities and events. The events are always so nice and everyone is super friendly. The weirdest thing just happened last night, my friends were over to watch a movie and we were just casually talking, and some random neighbor came to my patio and shut my door closed then stomped away. I live here for two months and l enjoy my apartment maintenance comes out quickly the office they are always available the neighbors are nice and dog friendly so if you’re looking to move here great place
