Got rear ended in an accident. Sitting here three and a half hours later waiting for a trooper to come and take the report. This is insane
RecommendedI am writing for a friend of mine who has been having trouble renewing his Fl. drivers license. He has been unable to get his license renewed because he can get a copy of his birth certificate. The local DMV gave him an extension of 90 days and again another 30 days. Cut off by a lady making an illegal lane change to make her exit. Ticketed even though it was pretty clear that damage was on left of my car and right of her's and zero skid marks. Trooper was so concerned that he even tried to set me up for a seatbelt violation. Probably should have looked at the facts instead of making an assumption. Trooper also gave me the line that here in Florida we give you a careless driving ticket, not sure how that works in your state. Great investigation, not!

Worst group of humans beings. Have been trying to resolve an issue for over a month between Illinois and Florida. Florida HSMV is absolutely screwing me and they are refusing to help me in any way. So to add to my already dire circumstances, this waste of a state just adds to it. I'm glad I left this pathetic excuse for a state.
I moved from Florida to TN and got a notice of license and registration suspension because I updated my insurance to TN. No problem except that TN won't register my vehicle without the title. Florida won't give me my title without returning the FL tag and my new TN registration. Think about it. This makes NO SENSE! They also keep telling me to call back later because of the high volume of calls, so I can't speak to anyone.
How do I get in contact with your customer service or how can I track the status of an online order on your website? I renewed my registration online a month ago and I haven't received my registration sticker and I've called the customer service line multiple times (20+ times alone today between noon and 5p.m. - your CLOSING time) and no one ever answered. There's not even a 'hold' option, I literally have to hang up and call again over and over again. And my receipt says I have a "DHSMV Tracking ID" but there's nowhere to t... read more
love how you guys sent me a letter threatening to cancel my license when 1. I haven't lived in florida for over a year and 2. I turned in my florida license for an alabama license a year ago. Get your life together lol
There is NO WAY for someone from out of state to contact the Florida State Highway Patrol by phone in an emergency!!!! Emergencies dont have business hours!!!
