Bad experience with First Floors and their Vice President, who may also be the owner’s son, Damon Dobson. We were looking to have over 1,000sf of hardwood installed in 3 rooms and a hallway, finished and hand scraped to match existing flooring. The company came to our house, measured, and Damon sent us a quote. I responded to Damon, asking when the company could get started. First of all, even though I always look at customer reviews I never contribute to them myself, lol, but I felt compelled to after the great service we received from First Floors. This is our 2nd time to use First Floors and my wife and I could not be happier. They came in to my home for an insurance claim and it was chaos from the beginning. They even scratched up my new refrigerator and chose the word of their employee over mine and have refused to fix the damages. Their employee told many lies throughout this process, blaming the bad work on us. Customer Service is lacking with these people from beginning to end. MANY THANKS to First Floors-Carpet One in Dallas for the beautiful work laying our new hardwood floors. From the first time we spoke with their adjuster just after "our flood" to Melanie helping us chose a wood, down to the all important installers who worked tirelessly for two days removing old wood and installing new. Their customer service and work is flawless in every area. If you need new floors of any kind I highly recommend them.

Great flooring! Awful customer service. I had to call to confirm each time they came out. And if they were running late, no call until I called. I’d def give better rating if they’d step up their communication.
