The new installation and activation of service could not have gone any easier. I've been DIY alarm systems for years and have used several of their competitors. My house had an existing alarm setup. I was able to add the Z-Wave Automation and the WIFI modules myself (ordered from Amazon) and configure them. I then signed up for the Self Gold plan which allowed both GSM (cellular) and WIFI connectivity to AlarmGrid. So far the process has been fantastically simple and their support and configuration staff have been polite and intelligent.
Signing up with Alarm Grid was the easiest thing in the world. I signed up and provided the details of my communicator. The next morning, it all worked. My activation call took less than 10 minutes.

This is the 3rd alarm system I've installed (in our last 3 houses) via AlarmGrid. Their customer service and support during the install and post-install has been superb! I won't go anywhere else for a DIY alarm system project.
My recent experience with Alarm Grid has been awesome. Specifically I work with a gentleman in customer support by the name of Joe Gonnella and he was incredible. He walked me through everything I needed to know about our new service and answered all my questions. In fact he also helped me to troubleshoot an issue with my Alarm panel hardware.
