Went there last night with my partner for a glass of wine after dinner. We really want to like this place as it's a great addition to the neighbourhood and folks that run it are super nice, but once again we were reminded why we dislike coming here. The place feels cold and clinical. The lighting is awful, way too bright with no distinction between the products for sale and the places to sit to enjoy those products. It's just uncomfortable to stay there for more than a glass no matter how good the wine.
Shaun or waiter was very pleasant . Summerlicious 2025 we ordered the cheese board rabbit terrine and charcuterie board. Everything was delightful. We had the main... coq au vin which was superb... just missing a few pearl onions... pork shoulder with white beans was tasty. Sweet desserts ... just enough... we even bought a few treats to go home with. Will go again
