With locations throughout the U.S., Fig & Olive presents diners with fresh, simple ingredients typical of the Mediterranean. Just like everything else on the menu, the restaurant's minimalist decor is reminiscent of the region. Some of the starters include Charcuterie, Crostini and Crudo while the entrees combine a scrumptious mix of seafood and meat. The Fig & Olive Tajine is highly recommended, it is a Moroccan spiced chicken cooked in a Tajine. The Table for Two menu features rotating items, some of which include a Chatea... read more

Nice space, food sharing fun – the space is nice and airy and the food tasted just the same: light and conducive for sharing. we ordered cheese platters, crostinis, and carpaccios. the creme brulee with notes of lavender was quite delicious. i wanted another. i'm curious to find out how the rest of the menu tastes... but it's all about the olive oils here. this place is good for groups of people
Olive oil infuses every Mediterranean dish at this warehouse-turned-restaurant in the Meatpacking District. – The Scene When this Upper East Side boite decided to go big-box in the Meatpacking District, a welcome semblance of intimacy came with it. A glowing tower of olive oil and wine divides the sand-and-clay-colored expanse in two, and pots of rosemary bushes separate one group of tables from the next. Polished patrons are attentively served, making the space seem even cozier. The Food An opening trio of French, Spanish a... read more
Nice atmosphere, TERRIBLE service – I went here recently based on the buzz I'd heard about the place. Even though we had a reservation and arrived on time, they were seating the people around us and took 10 minutes to get it together and put us at a table. The hostesses were not very friendly (but what can you expect from a meatpacking district place). Our waiter meant well but he took forever on every request. I had to ask 3 times over the span of a half hour for salt and pepper. One top of that, all me and my friend ordere... read more
delightfully cozy in trendy space – My husband and I went on the early side on a Friday night (after booking reservations on Opentable--love it!) and we were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and warm the environment and staff were. Even as the prime time crowd flowed in, our experience never faded. The menu is a refreshing departure from standard fare and traditional 3-course meal and will suit any palate and appetite with lighter and smaller plates to full entrees. The olive oil tasting is amazing and along with the win... read more
Beautiful location, Great food and service... – Fig & Olive Downtown was such a great experience. Their staff is very attentive, from the hosts to the buzz boys, everybody was so helpful and very polite. I was very impressed with the service. The setting is just beautiful, it's very romantic with the perfect lighting and low music, so you can actually have a conversation. They have a great selection of wines at very reasonable prices, for instance a bottle of great pinot noir can cost you about $38 which is very cheap for su... read more
Best and cheapest trendy restaurant in the Meat Packing District – What a place!! That's nice to be able to enjoy great mediterranean food in such a bright and open space. No need to have Asian fusion food. I have gone to the restaurant twice already (it opened 4 weeks ago) and have had a great meal each time. My favorites so far are the jamon-fig appetizer, the veal chop and the cheesecake (not your usual American cheesecake). The wines are quite cheap. Not a single one above 80 dollars. I had the Brunello 01. 80 dollars at ... read more
