I've been to this hospital several times. All the staff makes me feel safe. it's the only hospital I would go to to really be cared for. I've never had a bad experience there..
Fawcett Hospital is the WORST! My mother took my dad, a Moffit Hospital cancer patient to the ER at Fawcett for extreme pain near his rib. They did 2 different scans of the entire abdominal area (from the neck to the groin). The ER doctor said it was pneumonia. We asked her if it was the cancer. She adamantly denied that and said it was pneumonia. She prescribed him antibiotics and sent him home. By the second day after the ER visit, we knew something was wrong. Just had hip surgery and the care on the ortho unit was exceptional the staff was professional and caring
Care here is terrible... nurses don’t communicate and blame the doctors. Leave patients unattended hours and hours only reluctantly come into room when you press the call log. Don’t leave your love one alone
I had a total knee replacement there in January. Staff and care level were wonderful! I'm going back there for my next one!
