Check in was thorough and Bob was treated excellently. We arrived Friday morning he had a BP thru the roof and erratic heart pumping. We were sent to a room on Cardiac floor after many tests in the ER and were told he would be receiving a pacemaker at 7 pm that evening. Dr Cossu performed the surgery. Unbelievable all the wonderful timely treatment Bob received. Bob was released on Saturday around 3 pm after Dr. Cossu gave his final do's and don'ts. We would highly recommend Fawcett.
Dr. Rodriguez-Martin is like no-other doctor I have ever had the pleasure to know. At 64, we have all known quite a few, right? Well, not like him: He will spend hours discussing things with you, going over procedures, and finding solutions to not one thing at a time, but all your health problems. From what I understand, he even does house calls to the very ill, just like the old country doctors did. As always wonderful care at Fawcett Memorial.My husband was in the ER 2 times within the last 3 months and had wonderful care. I had surgery for bilateral knee replacements 2 yrs ago. It's the only hospital We will go to.
Went in for kidney stones ..5 tries later they got the IV in and then did not have the equipment to do the removal so they went in and pushed the kidney stones back into my kidney and charged the insurance company $60,000. Admitted me to the hospital and then charged the insurance company for 23.5 emergency room hours!! This is what is wrong with Healthcare!
I live in Desoto and i must say what a difference. Thank you for all the attention that was given to my mother on her stay. ER staff and doctors were amazing kept us laughing the time we were their. Once transferred to her room we received nothing but great attention. They made my moms stay more bearable. Thank you so much!!
