I had a consultation with Dr. Faulkner. He advised me to go to a general surgeon to resolve my concern (through insurance) rather than paying for cosmetic surgery. I had consulted with another plastic surgeon that gave me a proposal that would have cost me a significant amount. Rather than encouraging me to move forward with him, Dr. Faulkner saw a better solution and sent me to a surgeon that could more efficiently solve my problem (and save me $). Being a patient of Dr. Faulkner was a total pleasure from start to finish, and he offers the rare combination of superb mastery of his craft, high standard of care and comfortable bedside manner. Beware that billing is not transparent and the office manager has an attitude about it. I called to ask questions about how a 1 minute follow-up appointment was coded for my insurance, and the office manager told me that my questions were only adding to the time of my appointment/ why I was being charged. Very unpleasant service.
I can’t say enough about how wonderful Dr. Faulkner is. He truly cares that you are happy, never suggests more than you need, and errs on the side of less initially so you don’t get more done than you need. He’s incredibly kind, as is his staff and most importantly, incredibly skilled. He’s patient and so knowledgeable, always letting you know his thinking and why he’s chosen the areas he did. His team is so accommodating and wonderful. Truly a wonderful experience every single time!
