If the kids are bored with the video games and are yearning for something far from the ordinary, travel 35 minutes north of Branson to this spectacular underground chamber. Discovered in 1862 by a farmer's dog, these huge caverns are filled with stalactites and stalagmites. All tours take place on a guided jeep-pulled tram in order to preserve the natural features and each tour lasts about an hour. The underground temperature remains at or near 60 degrees, so dress appropriately.

DO NOT BOTHER it was Horrible. Way Over rated and not worth the $100.00 for a family of four. Too busy and we were forced to have 2 tours at same time. It was lame, forgettable and the only reason it lasted 55 minutes was a video you had to watch. The train was uncomfortable and cramped. I didn't expect Academy award winning preforming from the tour guide but did expect something more. You sit side by side on a long bench across from someone with no room for your legs and then the thing stops every 30 seconds, I'm assuming t... read more
After living here for 10 years we finally went. It took family coming from out of state but it was worth it. Our guide Karen helped make it a better experience,so beautiful a must see.
We go once a week and its different every time. The best time to go is during rain bc the water in the cave...well OK I lied any time us fantastic! Everyone is so nice and its neat to get different guides, bc they all say something different(same facts) and point out different things.
My sweet children LOVE coming to Fantastic Caverns. Today was no different. We got to Fantastic Caverns about twenty minutes befre they closed, an they still took us on the tour. We've been before, but since we were the only ones, we got a private tour. Joey is amazing. My kids of only loved how much he knew about the cave, but he also told them more about the cave than what you normally would hear durig the tour. My kids loved that! A couple of y kids now think they may want o explore caves for a living. The highlight of he... read more
I was actually surprised by the cave, and the tour guide was very good. Cool experience. The price was too steep in my opinion. And, the picture for $12? You've got to be joking. That should have been included in the $25 entrance fee.
Was absolutely gorgeous to behold! Our tour guide was amazing, funny and very well informed! A great stop on our way back home to Michigan.
