If the kids are bored with the video games and are yearning for something far from the ordinary, travel 35 minutes north of Branson to this spectacular underground chamber. Discovered in 1862 by a farmer's dog, these huge caverns are filled with stalactites and stalagmites. All tours take place on a guided jeep-pulled tram in order to preserve the natural features and each tour lasts about an hour. The underground temperature remains at or near 60 degrees, so dress appropriately.

My husband and I enjoyed seeing the wonderful formations. Amazing what mother nature can create. Our guide was very informative and fun.
Loved it and the guy that was telling us about the caves very very knowledgeable we will be back again
We had a great time thanks Doug Campbell. You and the staff was great.
Loved it. Fantastic history of the use of the cave. Loved the drive through part. Guide was excellent.
My 7 year old future Geologist was in Heaven in these caverns. It was an educational, fun tour. Our guide was so informative and made sure he answered all questions. We sat up front in the Jeep which was most comfortable, highly suggest that if your a family of 4. The tour was rather expensive but all tourism and nature preservation is. I highly suggest this tour!
A little expensive for the ride tour, understandably for education and conservation reasons. We did not take advantage of the outdoor trails and such. Our tour guide was awesome he had lots of information and was able to answer all of our questions. The kids were not very enthused at all but they are only 5 & 3. It was great for the memories and education.
Beautiful and has a lot of history and well worth the cost. I'll come again.
Fantastic Caverns was amazing. The tour was wonderful. We learned some very interesting facts on the tour.
There was definitely a little bit of shock when it came to the admission, but if you pay any attention at all it's because of their conservation and education efforts. The tour was a good 45 minutes and our guide, Casey, was excellent! I never knew the cave had such history and it was a fun experience. My kids and I loved the photo as well which, in my opinion, was well worth the $12. We also took advantage of the picnic tables and walking trails. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
