Went for a Covid test today. The waiting area was so crowded social distancing was not possible. People wore masks but some half-way. The ‘sick’ part of the waiting room is only 12’+ from the ‘well’ area. People coughing. Family Medical needs to manage the crowd by having people wait in their cars and come in when texted. Unprofessional behaviors for a medical facility. I heard the guy in the chair next to me say he had no symptoms but wanted to get tested because his Mom has it. Just great! 😡 😡 😡

I have been a patient at FMC for sometime now, and I can honestly say this is a place that we in the Griffin area can be proud of. I have a couple of health issues that need attention and I get that here. This is a caring and attentive group of doctors, P.A.'s and N.P.'s who strive to give you the very best in healthcare. I am proud to call FMC the home for all my primary healthcare needs as well as providing me with confident referrals when necessary. Thank you for your kindness, caring and constant understanding.
To many people I have seen complain about them. Ten dollars was more important to them than an elderly patient.
Had a COVID test on July 8th. Just received an email (July 23rd) from FMC that there was a new update to my portal so I assumed it was my COVID test results-FINALLY! When I opened it, the report said "Test was not performed. Specimen could not be located." They did, however, bill my insurance, which paid FMC $110 for the test. I do not recommend using them.
I had to go in for a Covid test today, and they were so busy! Everyone there was very professional and were doing a great job with the number of patients. Thank you for a job well done!
SLOW!!!! Rude front office staff. At least DOUBLE the time they give you to get test results and QUADRUPLE any wait time they give you.
I came in today, along with multiple family members. The place was crazy busy! The front staff were extremely courteous and efficient. This also pertains to the staff in the back. Being I know these men and women had VERY little time to take a break or even breath for a moment, I was to thank you for seemingly truly caring about each person who comes in. Certainly as kind and professional of a group as I've ever seen.
