I had to have a fitting for a mouth guard. The dental assistant who did this was soooo nice & helped me through it. I got a Little gaggy & thought we might have to redo the impression. But... she helped me not get sick while the mold was in my mouth; I made it through without having to redo the impression/molds!! Yay! Thank you!

No one likes to go to the Dentist. But, for six years I have being going to Overman Family Dentistry. If your appointment is at 3, you will be in the chair then or a little after. The staff is friendly and well skilled, you are treated with respect and kindness. Having a Dentist like Dr. Overman will change your outlook on visits to the Dentist.

I started going to Overman Family Dentistry when I was a student in Ames. After graduating, I moved to Des Moines and tried a few different dentists in the metro area. I've yet to find anyone that I have enjoyed and trusted as much as Dr. Overman and his staff! Dr. Overman always takes the time to answer any questions I have, and is patient and kind. I went in with wisdom tooth pain hoping that they could remove it. After taking an X-ray they realized it was more for an oral surgeon to remove so they put me in touch with an oral surgeon that was able to squeeze me in that day. They worked very hard to find a good solution for me and even took into account my fear of dentists. I will definitely be working with them for my dental needs in the future.
Starting my week on Monday with a broken tooth was not in my plans. But when I called in to make an appointment I was unsure when I might actually get in, to Ames best ALL TEETH pros. The friendly staff at Overman Family Dentistry took my call and while on the phone, they said they actually had a cancelation in about 2 hours. From the first minute to the last it was obvious that the staff was comitted, professional, and caring. Good work!
Very satisfied; no pain; no bleeding; proceeded with normal activity the remainder of the day following the instructions to eat soft foods and kept my head above my heart. Appreciated the conversations at the office and Dr. Overman's check-up call.
