They do false advertising and never get a right answer with billing.
Okay, I am officially really angry. I don't get really angry very often, but when a company takes advantage of my 83 year old mother I get angry. My mom decided to finally switch from her dial up internet connection to a DSL connection with Fair Point. Fair Point is her phone company. What a useless piece of crap company. I'm sorry, but your equipment is ridiculously out of date, your internet is slow and your service sucks. Oh yeah, I almost forgot...you're now experiencing outages in two states. Ha!!! You don't deserve one star, but I had to. I want Verizon back.
I'm giving you no stars. Fairpoint is the worst internet provider ever. On top of the insane install policies and general lack of knowledge there employees are rude, unhelpful and genuinely stupid. They have no actual support for there internet and home phone services. They can't actually fix there internet when it goes down and there "ultra" internet is slower and more expensive than there cable rivals. My honest opinion get cable Internet or go without cause it never works anyway.
I think fairpoint does a heck of a good job!! Their internet service is hardly ever out and after the storm took ours out the other day they replaced the modem and it is back to running great!
