So tired of my internet dropping every 5 minutes. If i could get a different provider i would drop fairpoint like a bad habit.
Useless for watching television. Netflix, Hulu, amazon. Doesn't matter. Everything is pixelated and screen freezes up. Tv, phone, I pad Samsung tablet. Nothing works for this outrageously expensive useless service.
Absolutely terrible service. Had them at a residence. Called 4 days before I was supposed to move and they couldn't start our new service for a month. We waited and I took a day off from work. Well no one called me and they never came. I called them and they said they could come on Friday. My boyfriend took the day off from work and guess what? They never came. After the circus of your strike a few years ago I thought that the BS would end. NOPE! Still getting hung up on after a few minutes on hold and I'm a business customer. Do your fucking jobs.
There is a sign on Castine Rd in Penobscot saying there is high speed internet in Penobscot. I have called twice for my home and business and customer service has said there is no service available. I watched the lineman and spoke to them for over a month run a new line down to Castine and customer service says there is no service? No wonder Fairpoint has lousy reviews and customer service. I can't believe I didn't see this before starting up with Fairpoint I'm a new customer, 2 days old. My internet went down this evening while I was in the middle of completing next weeks schedule for my staff. After troubleshooting I made the call...... that went NOWHERE! I called every number I could find each one either sounded off the hook or rang and rang. No one is there on technical support! This is unbelievable! I waited 12 minutes with O indication anyone would be answering.
To give this company 1 star is stretching it....they told me they could provide 15 mbs...NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE!!! Countless calls, more visits to my house than I care to say...& I'm only the 4th house from the box!!!! This company beyond SUCKS!!! Internet is CONSTANTLY going out!!! If they couldn't provide 15mbs they shouldn't have OFFERED IT!!!!
Their internet is so slow dial up has caught up and passed them on speed. Oh yeah service sucks too.
