Horrible business. Unable to get their billing correct, I've been shut off twice because of office errors.....and I'm expected to pay a reconnection fee. Your thieves, liars and crooks, I'd give negative 100 stars if it were an option. I hope another competitor enters the market!
This company is the worst I've ever had to deal with and I don't say that lightly. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They don't deserve even one star.
This is what happens when a company decides to add internet to their list of things and takes up four year old lines from Verizon and then doesn't decide to upgrade them. Years later all the lines are failing one by one and their own tech's are scrambling to pick up the fragile remains of their dying internet service. My Family is looking into putting a pole in the yard to get Time Warner internet service because we see no other options.
My phone goes in and out because of the weather and has been going on for quite some time. Everytime I call I'm being told you are having technical problems. I wan my damn phone fixed,please!! The acct is under Arthur Staples and the phone # is 207-469-3533

No stars go to......... FAIRPOINT! Worst company and customer service ever. I have been waiting for internet hookup now for over 4 weeks... 8 DAYS PAST THE DATE I WAS TOLD and still no one there can tell me when the new date will be. I have called EVERY SINGLE DAY and no one tells me anything at all. Completely dissatisfied with this service and will be greatly compensated when I do receive service / IF I do receive any kind of service. MOST of the time my internet is okay with Fairpoint. But, again, today, it's only connecting intermittently. I am getting this: Your access to this mail system has been rejected due to the sending MTA's poor reputation. Great. So I can't email my son. If it goes as usual, when I wake up in the morning the problem will have disappeared. If it hasn't there is no one to call. They always say they aren't aware of any problem in my area. Fine. I have no other choice for internet service in my area except for satellite.
MY PHONE NUMBER WAS SPOOFED AND WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN, THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. TOMORROW I WILL CANCEL AN ACCOUNT I'VE HAD FOR 27 YEARS AND GO WITH MY CELL PHONE ONLY. AT LEAST US CELLULAR TAKES THEIR SECURITY SERIOUSLY!!!!
This service is becoming a fucking joke, in the past 2 hours ive waited 40 mins on the phone to speak with someone only to have my call dropped by them. Pay for 15mbps you get 10 if your lucky. Your customer service needs help as it appears your employees do as well. Time to get to fixing.
