While the architecture and the setting is still majestic, unfortunately it has become extremely expensive. The staff is ver friendly. The food is good. The decor magnificent a usual. The disappointing part is that the Oak Bar was closed and very difficult to park (go after 7 pm...) Valet Parking is extremely expensive...
This place is amazing. Lovely staff, brilliant deco!!
Loved the Vegan High Tea. Everything was so delicious and service was excellent! The kids especially loved the hot chocolate and cotton candy!
Excellent service as usual. They always make us feel special whether it's a girls night out or root beer floats with my son.
Beautiful hotel, stayed here for my honeymoon night, still as wonderful as always, Only Disappointment, food hall had no ice !?!!!!! Really can't get ice at the Plaza !!! Not cool .....
This has been one of my dreams ever since I watched Home Alone 2 as a child. We went to NYC for our honeymoon and my husband wanted to book our stay there but I suggested afternoon tea as the prices were through the roof. We had a lovely afternoon having champagne afternoon tea at $95 each, plus tax and a tip which we didn't get much change from $250. I would recommend as a treat but it's very expensive for what it is and I won't be rushing back....my 5* is more for the experience than the food and it's quality.
For the amount they charge, you'd think they could afford toilet paper in their restrooms. Especially, after the staff was told it was needed THREE times. Their solution? Close the bathroom to all.
The Champagne Bar is the most relaxing bar. They treat you like royalty. Ask for Ivitza he is the best server and will make you feel like you are the only person In the room. It is my must stop anytime I am in NY! If you need to feel special this is the place that will give you that boost.
The plaza Hotel is the best place in the world <3 I highly recommend :D
