Dr. Achille has been wonderful through my pregnancy, which is how we originally found her. I will continue to go to her after my pregnancy. She has a wonderful personality and answers every question. I previously had a Dr in Coal Springs and he did not have a good personality, would answer my questions with an attitude and made me feel like I had no right to ask them. This is the type of Dr I feel you should run the other way from. Dr. Achille was the exact opposite.
After one visit as new patient I was called in birth control pills as treatment for a condition. Unfortunately the pills did not agree with me, made me very ill, terrible stomach pain and nausea. I called the office to see what else they could prescribe, the MA told me she doctor was not in, would leave a message to call me bck, its been over 1 week. Obviously I will not be getting a phone call back, which is clear to me they do not care. We are just a number.
She is very brief with you during appointments. When asked a question, she answers as if you know what she is talking about as opposed to explaining it more thoroughly. She speaks quickly and mumbles her responses. She seems like a nice person though not very affectionate with her patients which is odd given the circumstances. She is difficult to reach on phone. Overall, Dr. Fabienne Achille is nice but would not necessarily recommend if you want a more friendly and hands on doctor.
My first visit was a breeze. Found Dr. Achille from the internet. Called made appointment. Receptionist conversation, was very pleasant and seamless. Office is CLEAN!! My one on one was AWESOME!! Very informative, private, knowledgeable, attentive, quick. I wish she was a family practice or a general doc, so I wouldn't have ANY worries about my overall health. I would recommend her to anyone. Simply the best!!
The Dr office refuse to accommodate my work schedule due to pregnancy. I requested to get fmla for pregnancy related issues due to my job being affected and each time they filed out the paperwork it was incorrect. I work 50hours per week on my feet and only requested 24 hours per month but they refused to accommodate me. Please do not go to this dr if you are pregnant and require any time off. Stay away!
Dr. Achille explains things in a manner that is easy to understand and takes her time while meeting with you to address all your concerns and questions. I always feel very comfortable speaking with her which is very important to me.
