Easy to make an appointment. Desk staff is very friendly and helpful with insurance issues. Dr. Nicola is a very nice lady and very knowledgeable on my situation. Thank you.
I have mobility issues that necessitate use of a wheel chair and limit the amount of time I am comfortable sitting upright. Dr Nicola and her assistants have been so considerate and professional with my care. Their kindness is appreciated.
I needed cataract surgery. Dr. Nicolas office kept referring me to surgeon's who were out of my network. I finally called a surgeon myself and explained what was going on. They took me right away. Nicolas office sucks. If I had listened to her I would have lost all sight in my left eye. Thank goodness I found a Dr. who listened to me. I was diagnosed with a hole in my left retina. She was trying to make me think it was in my head.
Dr Nicola saw me related to an eye trauma from a car accident. She did a great job and was very reassuring. More importantly, I followed up with her via email and she responded quickly and compassionately. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to have a doctor treat you so kindly and graciously in these modern times. None of my other doctors are even close to being as available, helpful, and responsive as she was. I highly recommend her.
I do not know what is going on with this office but something isn't quite right. I would have loved to have seen Dr. Nicola but it seems like her practice management is unethically nickel and diming patients. First, the receptionist or the woman checking me in was really quite rude. It's not what she said but how she said it. Second, they charged me more than the insurance agreement for an eye exam for my copay.
