I took my son in for a cut on his eye. The young lady at the front counter was the worst, wouldn't call to verify insurance coverage, so I had to, I give her the information, but she was to worried about her hair, then we see the doctor who was great, then we go to check out, and they said he didn't have insurance coverage, which he does!!!! so I go to pay and the girl is so rude, I ask do you take cash, she just stared at me, which reminded me that there service Sucks, that's why I drive to Louetta normally, even if they ar... read more
Eye Trends charges additional fees for those using vision insurance to get an exam for contacts that is not disclosed when you book an appointment by phone. Upon arrival they explain their additional $79 to $119 fee, not covered by insurance. Don't be a sucker and agree to pay it. Just use another doctor that doesn't charge this.

I have been a patient there for years. The past two years I have seen this location go down hill. When calling a patient to confirm an appointment you really should know the patients name. Valerie is young and very unprofessional. She didn’t address who she was till I called her out on it. When asked for a manager at 1230 on a Friday I was told there was none. Initial experience with exam was fine, but I’m never going to be able to order my contacts over the phone since every time I’ve called I’m on hold for 10-20 minutes and then shuffled from associate to associate once the phone is finally answered. I spent half an hour this morning on hold and being transferred, and then when I finally talked to someone she was going to have to place me on another hold to verify that my insurance would cover my contacts..... considering I’m just completing a trial, and the coverage was approve... read more
I brought my daughter to this shop for eye exam. I then ordered a pair of glass from eyebuydirect based on their prescription. The new glass arrived but made my daughter right eye blurry and felt dizzy. I went back to this shop and asked them to check again, they admitted they made a mistake on the prescription (they forgot to put the negative sign on the right eye cylinder value, see attached photo ) They just corrected the prescription and gave me the new prescription but would not compensate the cost of glass. My eye doctor was AWESOME!!! She was explaned very thing so I could understand AND she LISTENED !!! I’ll go back~ for sure!!!
Everyone was very patient and caring. They ran tests that no other eye Dr have ever run and explained each process and result to my understanding.
