I was so lucky to get Dr. Shatz to fix my cataracts during this covid pandemic. He was so professional and caring and willing to help me and get me scheduled in on short notice. I truly appreciate his dedication to his patients. All the staff at the Eye Physicians of Northampton are wonderful people and so nice to deal with. I highly recommend them to take care of your eyes.
Dr. Shields did an excellent job as a surgeon and the nursing staff was also top notch. The process was carefully orchestrated to be as efficient and safe as possible. I am very glad I went ahead with this surgery. The office also does a wonderful job in preparation and follow-up.
Dr. David Shields, who just performed my second cataract surgery, is an exceptionally kind and thoughtful physician who professional skills are superb. If you are looking for an eye doctor, he will not disappoint.
I had cataract surgery. I see better now than I have in my whole life. Dr. Shatz was wonderful. Great bedside manner. Made me feel like his only patient. Treated me with great respect, Love this doctor.

Had cataracts surgery by Dr.Lauren Shatz and I am thrilled with the outcome of the surgery. 1st time since the 4th grade that I no longer need glasses. Not even for reading. He was very patient and informative. Wanted to be sure I understood the procedure and what to expect as an outcome. Sincerely concerned that I was happy with the results. Terrible customer service and scumbag treatment by management of how they treat their employees.unprofessional and undeserving of any patronage at all. I am not alone about the feelings for this business and will discourage anyone who is interested in eye care to use this firm
Dr. Shields discovered a torn retina during my annual eye exam?! Staff is professional, polite and competent. Dr. Shields is a fantastic ophthalmologist! Go SEE him! 😂😂
