Several years ago, I experienced a detached retina, which was repaired by a vitro-retinal specialist in Tallahassee. My "regular"opthalmologist at the time was located in Albany, GA. That Dr had failed to timely diagnose my problem, which resulted in much more involved surgery than would have been otherwise necessary. I lived about 50 miles from Albany and about 60 from Tallahassee. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr Kato, of Eye Associates by the vitro-retinal Dr, as I also require treatment for glaucoma. Doctors Weaver and Trafton are excellent! Everyone is very professional and caring, I highly recommend them.
Went in for an eye exam for new glasses and contacts. Quality of service was excellent the entire time. Had a slight issue with billing upon check out because my insurance isn't very well know, but they took the time to look into the situation for me and even refunded me money since I was overcharged. It is honestly like that which is hard to find these days and the reason why I will go back there for all my eye needs.
