Dr Hughes did a great job removing a mammary tumor from my hedgehog. She is a very patient vet. The entire staff is great. You know you are in the right place when you walk in with a hedgehog and everyone is not like "ohhh a hedgehog" like they have never seen one before. Their prices are very reasonable too.
Absolutely Brilliant
I always enjoy the staff of caring professionals here. They know how to handle the most challenging birds and do so with ease and great care. I’m also looking forward to learning more about being a responsible owner at the free class they’re offering at the end of the month. As a first time bird owner, I really appreciate all of the advice and knowledge that they share in a non condescending helpful manner.
This is the absolute best avian vet and we are so thrilled to be patients. I have a baby cockatiel who was injured in a freak accident and have had to make multiple appointments to ensure her health. The vets are always so helpful in making sure my bird is healing and in answering questions I have. The techs are great and I love how they love on my baby! They are willing to do what it takes to make sure we are seen when something goes horribly wrong and help guide us on proper nutrition. I would be lost without this place.
This hospital has gone above and beyond for my chickens! From quick look overs to assuage my worries to radiographs for an egg blockage, the staff, techs, and vets have been amazing and so kind. They go out of their way to ensure the chickens are entertained and eating well. They saved my little Esther’s life and I couldn’t possibly thank them enough! If you have chickens, bring them here and prepare to be amazed by their standards of care and knowledge!
I brought my Sun Conure James in today for his beak and nails trimmed and the staff and facility was awesome! Very good with James and helpful. Wonderful experience :)
I absolutely loved Dr.huges. We took our guinea pig there for a 2and opinion regarding a mass he had. She right off the bat recommended surgery and wanted to do everything she could to help him. She was very knowledgeable and took a lot of time during her physical exam of the pig. I only wish we would have went there sooner! Staff was friendly and so kind to him. Even brought the pig fresh veggies while we waited for the vets surgery estimate
