Their facility is clean, their staff is friendly and their doctors are top notch. they even reached out to us when they heard one of our lizards had passed away after many health issues. We had to evacuate from Wilmington, North Carolina, for hurricane Florence. They were so welcoming. Our birds were so taken care of. I picked up birds that were in better shape than when we drop them off. We so thank exotic bird hospital of Jacksonville. We recently had an emergency with our kinkajou, Loki was in pretty bad shape and fighting for his life by the time we got there. If it wasn't for the efforts of Dr Shashy and the great staff there he would've never made it past the first night. We still have a long road ahead but we will not entrust our exotics to another vet. I can't say enough good things about Dr Shashy.
AMAZING! How lucky can anyone be to have been a part of this caring family of doctors; assistants and customer service individuals.... I love this place...nothing but care and love for "Peanut". I didn't think places like this existed any more... Thanks to all of you for caring!!!!!
They take such great care of My Red Lored Amazon, Ginger. the vets and techs are very gentle with her, and they explain things in plain English, unlike many human specialty doctors. EBH also offers boarding, food, toys and supplies and food for birds!
