Sat for 30 minutes waiting for food, the waitress said the ticket had been lost. Time before had fruit flies swarming my food, time before that you could tell that the fried chicken had been sitting in a warmer. Third strike you're out. Sorry!!!

Sean, sorry to hear of your experience. Rest assure our chicken is cooked fresh daily. If you ordered the chicken then it would take a minimum 15 or more minutes upon taking your order to cook the chicken to safety standards. Oftentimes we've been known to take longer than fast food due to fresh cooking our food, specifically the fried chicken. Regarding the fruit flies, this is a first we've heard of and management will research further as we have not seen any. Hope you try us again.

Waited thirty minutes for them to take our order, waited almost an hour for lukewarm undercooked food. Staff was apologetic and said they must have been busy because of the election. ? Didn't offer to comp anything, not even our drinks. Side note - if you're contemplating the chicken and sausage gravy biscuit, don't pay the extra three dollars for the piece of chicken - it's basically an oversized chicken nugget. Had heard good things about the restaurant, but we won't be back.
Food was great, but for our first visit they didn't have two items that we wanted at 9am. Other than that A+!
How but turn the damn music down in the kitchen. Nobody can hear each other and it's too loud for the dining room. I get cornbread after my meal is served and I'm done eating. What a sad experience. Used to be good but the servers are not capable of remembering anything. Poor service. Mediocre food. Close down and let someone do it right
Favorite spot for weekend breakfast with the kids!! Reasonably priced, made from scratch! Best, if you're not in a hurry. The wait has not stopped us yet!!!
Eva's is not only filled with great food and dessert but also nostalgia since it's been in downtown summerville since 1952.its a place you must visit, but beware it's contagious and horribly addictive. Ps: you'll love it!!!!!
