We had a brilliant time at a Gala dinner. Staff were very efficient, food was delicious the only fault I would have was that the toilets were being renovated and there was a long journey the nearest ones.
Stayed for the 1st time yesterday. Hotel was lovely and clean. Staff was amazing. Only giving 4 stars because of the breakfast is terrible and at the price it costs. Could do with some improvement. Otherwise would be a top 5 star review

I do see that you booked with breakfast on a third party website. If you do choose to book via a third party commissionable website and not through our own direct website. My friend and I had just had a pleasant afternoon at the theatre and called into the hotel's restaurant on spec. We were instantly found a table. The service for ourselves was good. The menu had a variety, although I didn't checkout the vegetarian options. There Pre Theatre menu, which is always handy. The wine list was good, and you can purchase wine by the glass. Great hotel, rooms were brilliant, staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing �
I attened a function on Thursday 23rd February & have never been as disappointed with a meal. The main meal was bland & also luke warm. Gravy was brought out when most at oir table had ate what little they did of their meals. A disgrace the amount of food which was left & that was for all 3 courses. Couldnt have faulted the staff, location or facilities but for a 4 star hotel definitely wouldnt recommend the food
Only called in for drinks but a lovely atmosphere and lovel staff
Service in restaurant was excellent but food was inedible!! We were in a hurry for the theatre & had no time to complain. Menu options were small. £122 and not satisfied.. not good
Top of line in service, rooms and location. Rubber duck was a nice touch.
